I haven't had a singles match in over a decade, let a lone a shot at a title. Because the last time I had a title around my waist, this division looked a little different. All we had to fight for was one sparkly pink butterfly. But I loved that title and I wore that title proudly. Because I made that title.

We were friends first. Dating other people. And then once we were both single at the same time, I think part of me was like, "Who knows? Let's try it out." And then I blinked and we were married in, like, two months or something like that.

But I do remember, when we were just friends, like zero romantic interest, we were talking at a restaurant one time, and he was saying something about like how he knows that he's never getting married. And a weird voice in my head went, "You're gonna marry me." And I was like, "Bitch, what? Who was that?" And then I didn't talk to him for probably like a year, because I was freaked out by that.

Because I never wanted to get married. I don't believe in marriage. I still would be like "don't get married!" to people. It works for us. I don't think it lasts forever, I think people grow, I think people grow at different times, I think it's an institution, but for some reason... it was like, "This is my teammate. This is the team." So it works for us.

In my book, I kind of talk about us getting together through the show and then I say the rest of our story is just for us, because I get scared sometimes if you open the window, everyone's like, "Oh, hey, now I'm gonna sneak into the house."
