'The rest of My Life's by Less Than Jake was co-written by Mark Hoppus of Blink 182.

Greg Graffin, lead singer of Bad Religion, has a PhD from Cornell University. His Dissertation was officially in Zoology, titled “Evolution, Monism, Atheism, and the Naturalist World-View: Perspectives from Evolutionary Biology".

The Network, Foxboro Hot Tubs and Pinhead Gunpowder, are all side projects of Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.

The bridge vocals in 'Dust on the Hourglass' by We are the Union, were provided by The Swellers' vocalist, Nick Deiner.

‘Honest or Sentimental’ by melodic hardcore band, Astpai, features guest vocals by Chris Cresswell of The Flatliners.

‘Human(e) Meat (The Flensing of Sandor Katz)’ by Propagandhi, is a direct attack on food writer, Sandor Katz.

Masked Intruder actually play as a completely different band totally unmasked. Intruder Green is the lead vocalist, and the band is said to sound similar to A Wilhelm Scream. But we ain’t going to tell you their name. 

Heather Tabor (Teen Idol’s, Bullet’s To Broadway) is the female vocalist on the classic Less Than Jake song ‘Look What Happened’. 

During the 90′s and early 00′s, Ska-Punkers Less Than Jake regularly employed their manager to become ‘Mr Skull’. During each performance, he would wear a Japanese kimono and skull mask and jump around the stage. 

‘They Call Me Steve’ by Teenage BottleRocket, is all based upon the computer game MineCraft. Lead Guitarist/Vocalist Kody Templeman is said to be a huge fan of the game. 

Davey Havok of A.F.I, provided backing vocals for the song ‘True Romance’ by ghoulish rockabilly band, Tiger Army. Nick 13 of Tiger Army returns the favour by providing backing vocals on ‘A Single Second’ by A.F.I.

Infamous stage and screen actor, Montgomery Clift is the centre of the song ‘The Right Profile’ by The Clash. Joe Strummer is said to have been reading Clift’s autobiography during the recording ‘London Calling’, influencing him so, he was to write the song. 

The lyrics ‘It’s been a lifelong sofa ride’ taken from ‘Mercy Day for Mr Vengeance’ by A Wilhelm Scream, is presumed to be a reference to ‘Lifelong Sofa Ride’ by Canadian Skate-punkers, Belvedere. 

‘We got two Jealous Again’s’ by NOFX, was written frontman Fat Mike, commenting on the merging of his and his now ex-wife, Erin’s record collection. ‘Jealous Again’ being a single by Black Flag. The song also mentions singles by Misfits, Minor Threat, Killing Joke, Bad Religion and many others. 

‘Sadie’ by Alkaline Trio, was written about Sadie Mae Glutz, a Manson family member and murderer of actress Sharon Tate.
