Faded | Roxi | Chapter 2 | Open
“…”
She had finally turned around. Roxi stared at the smaller girl for a long while, the glass falling out of her hand and smashing on the ground below. She gently pinched herself on the arm to confirm that she was awake before anything else. She then staggered a little, before a torrent of tears began rolling down her cheeks.
“Great… Now I’m hallucinating… Just p-perfect…”
“Roxi-?!” She jumped as soon as she saw the tears falling, and the glass shattering really didn’t help matters. Ayaka threw up her hands, stepped a little closer, then seemed to think better of it.
“…I-I’ll get help,” the raconteur blurted, and then darted out of the room. Oh God. Did she really. She did.
After being missing for roughly five minutes, Ayaka all but stumbled back into the smoothie bar with a yelp of Roxi’s name. “A-are you okay? I’m sorry, I.. I didn’t… Roxi..!”
Roxi was on the floor on her hands and knees, her breath ragged and torn. Tears were flooding down her cheeks as she gasped for air, in the midst of a full blown panic attack. As she heard the footsteps running away, she raised a hand.
"n... NO! D-DON'T LEAVE M-ME ALONE!"
But it was too late. She was gone. The planner pulled at her hair as she folded over, oblivious to the reappearance of the ghost.
"... No... No... Don't leave me alone... Please..."
