batman's new look in the comics: batman #1

A pair of wells, called the Initiation Wells, spiral down deep within the earth, like inverted towers. The wells were never used to collect water. Instead, they were part of a mysterious initiation ritual within the Knights of Templar tradition.

Looking at some more of my old art from the Cable & Deadpool days. Domino was always a really fun supporting character— although for some reason I always made her sort of happier than she’s usually portrayed… My take on her was that her tough persona was sort of an act she’d put on to survive in the hyper-masculine mercenary world that she lived in, and living with her mutation that’s impossible for her to hide. She has to be prepared for all the shit she has to constantly put up with. But that’s not what she’s like inside, which is the side that Cable can see in her. This was largely an excuse to convince the editor, Nicole Boose, to allow me to draw her in her pink tiara, which Nicole thought was too girly.
