I’ve finally finished designing the Qing Dynasty... Sorry, I know his clothing isn’t historically accurate, but I really can’t draw outfits that are too complicated 😭💦

In my setting, he’s a bit of a tsundere. After his dynasty fell, he hid inside the Forbidden City until China (his grandson) decided to help him regain his motivation. Qing suggested that he could open his palace to the public—that way, lots of people would visit, and he could even make some money. At first, Qing wasn’t very happy about it—he didn’t want strangers wandering around his home. But eventually, he reluctantly agreed.

Now, he’s kind of like a vibe—lying lazily on the kang bed in the Forbidden City, occasionally taking strolls and listening to traditional opera. He rarely interacts with tourists, but if someone is especially enthusiastic, he might agree to take a photo. Although he seems content now, he often cries secretly at night—he misses how things used to be when he was little, back when it was still the era of emperors. He loved watching the court dramas and the scheming among the princes. Even though he can now watch TV series about the Qing Dynasty, he’ll never see those people again...
