you have to admit there are some joys in life that can only be felt due to hardship. a common example is steaming hot showers. it takes a cold day, or a sickness, for someone to experience the joy of a hot shower. you can’t enjoy it in the heat. then there’s the joy of a fulfilling sleep, often achieved through a tiring day. and there’s the joy of a reunion, achieved through separation. and there are many more examples. sometimes difficulty carries a special range of joys and that’s something to be thankful about.

Practice not comparing your path to others; focusing on your own path; being thankful for the opportunity you have to shape and create your life. There's so much beauty in that, and it just gets drowned instantly the millisecond you start comparing your life to someone else's.

I learned not to talk about my level up journey and aspirations with people. Even to really close friends and family. They be giving side eyes, talk me down and call it unattainable. They're stuck in the mentality which for the majority is considered what life is about and you'll be called all kinds of things if you refuse to settle for that.

You attract what you are and you create what you think about. Act like the person you want to become. Think like the person you want to become. Nothing changes in your life unless you make the decision and commitment to change it. Hold an image in your mind of how you wish to see yourself living. Visualize it everyday and you will unconsciously start to do things that will move you towards that goal.
