Helps keep an eye on your spend, easier to find and compare similar products and the special offers are all in one place. Also, For tip 1 you will already be using the most expensive calculator you own. 3. Remember own label. Switch down from your normal brand and see if you can tell the difference. Lower prices does not mean inferior quality 4. Use the unit price ( eg £x per 100g) to really compare across products. Check to see if that bigger pack is really better value. 5. Go to to meat, fish or deli counter and only buy the quantity you need. My wife hates fish so a prepack is always too much. At the counter I can ask for just enough for me.
