So I've seen a lot of people on tiktok say that Jude didn't get Cardan's riddle and that he outsmarted her but she literally did understand it, no? If I recall correctly, she contemplated the possibility that she could pardon herself but since Cardan laughed along when she claimed she was the High Queen, she figured she had no 'legitimate' claim to the throne since they got married in secret. So like,, Jude was smart enough to understand she just had too much trust issues lmao.

Which is also why Cardan later in QoN blatantly confesses his love for her and says, "you probably guessed as much, but just in case you didn't." Cardan thought it was obvious, and expected Jude to get his trick because he expected her to know that he felt something for her and wasn't actually betraying her. Meanwhile Jude doubted that he wanted her back and thought he had made a mistake with the wording of exiling her.
