there's a practice ease to marjorie's movements on the ice, a familiarity with the way the hockey skates feel beneath her feet that give away too much, perhaps, too soon. weight pitching left and right with ease as she weaves through the obstacle course of pucks she'd set up hours previous, her attention strangely still set on the phone clutched in her gloved fist.
