The End of Poland (no sound)

October 1939, Soviet and German troops meet at the center of Poland after its defeat, as part of the agreements of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, in which it was stated that the soviets would occupy Eastern Poland, while the Germans kept the west, the Vistula river becoming the new border between the two nations.

The flyers the germans are handing over read: “The German Army salutes the Red Army of workers and farmers, which has always held in the highest respect.”

We really need to get some things straight when we’re producing documents in work or home, because no document can tell what it means for itself to anyone else. The hot list:

1 Is it important to compose? 2 Will it stand by itself as an action authority in the real world? 3 Will it produce more documents? 4 Will it go as input that’ll create a data set? 5 Will it be printed on paper?

The number five is the killer. If you’re composing a document to print, just stop using any VPN, web browser, or any kind of intranet. Your text need to get to paper as fast as possible with as little if at all data processing besides your word processor. Click off your wi-fi, plug your printer to the port, print it and send it. Obviously you don’t need any kind of .ps exporting unless you want to share your unfinished work for editing with someone else (not the person getting your document).

Exporting a pdf from a document we just want to printout to paper will not necessary make it better to read or easier to print, BUT it will definitely create new data with our words for known uses (hopefully?) besides printing.

And here’s the thing. Most of the time we do type-in a ton of stuff everyday not only for making text for documents but for browsing pages, downloading and whatever. Unless we’re typing-in or composing words on a doc in order to get a printed document from someone else, which should be done on that person’s domain anyway, then the text we type for composing a document we need to make sure stays only on our word processing space/domain.

Number two could be anything. But as anything goes so as THAT text should go only through printer on paper because real world actions are an important thing for all.
