This month of September, be our companions as we care for our mental health through various activities that not only energize the mind but also the body. This Mental Health Calendar, entitled Aurora, aims to revitalize the body and the mind like how we wake up in the morning after a good night’s sleep. The main theme of the calendar revolves around the warm feeling of waking up in the morning, ready to take on the day and accomplish all the tasks set.
Our Sunday’s theme is Sunrise Sunday, which will be a various set of activities that will help you start the week right with a smile on your face. Mondays will be Morning Mondays, as we give you ways to make your Monday a happy Monday! Gone are the days where you dread Monday; Monday is now the best day of the week. Tranquility takes over Tuesday, as we help you achieve peace of mind through satisfying one’s mind, body, and soul, through activities you love doing. On Wednesdays, we are warm. We wish that Warm Wednesdays will give you the same warm feelings that give you comfort and care. Toasty Thursdays are rest days, given to remind ourselves that it’s okay to take a step back and rest. Now, thank God for Fridays! Frenzy Fridays are meant for you to have some fun, hence the theme Frenzy. We want to encourage you to either take the day off and just do something you love doing, or finish all your tasks to have the days ahead of you easy. And on the seventh day is Sunset Saturday, to signify the end of another great week.
Through Aurora, may you find the rejuvenated hope you lost during this quarantine. Though times right now are hard and we are all on uneven playgrounds that draw wide gaps to our circumstances, know that you are not alone in this journey and that this too shall pass.
