ABOUT LUNA

Luna grew up rather ditzy and outgoing and bubbly, there was not much that she wouldn’t be smiling at. It used to cause problems with others however she never really cared what people thought of her. She was always an outgoing girl, could be very clumsy and very ditsy at times. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t smart, she was a person who loved to read and loved to learn new things no matter what. People either loved her energy or hated it and she would never try to false people to like her, however she would always talk to people and be nice to them unless they gave her a reason not to. 

Music was a big thing in Luna’s life and she grew up listening to music and loving it and dissecting song lyrics to understand the meaning behind it.  It was always something that she loved doing. This then became something she started to do. She started to write songs herself however they were really bad at first she didn’t have anything to base it off. This was until she got her first boyfriend in highschool and for two years they were so in love until one day he was in love with her best friend and decided to break up with her. This gave her so much content to write songs on and she started doing this a lot.  For her 18th birthday her parents bought her an acoustic guitar and she was so happy with this present as it made her feel like she was going to be the next Taylor Swift even if that was a big dream. 

Living in New York was great, it gave her plenty of opportunities to show off her singing skills at open mic nights around the city but she wasn’t confident in her original music so she only sang covers of songs but it got her exposure. She even did a few solo shows in bars where she would cover her favourite songs. It soon became apparent people liked her voice but she knew she needed to actually write better songs. She started trying to write songs and even started a Tik Tok to get social media exposure. However her song writing wasn’t going the way she wished it would so she made the decision to look into Songwriting classes at college. 

She had never originally wanted to go to college so she didn’t go straight after school, however now she knew it was the right time. She researched schools and she decided if she was going to do it she was going to get out of New York and she had seen so many good colleges in LA however PSU stood out to her so she sent in her application. When she got in, she was excited to start anew in LA and find new places to sing in but also spend her time learning songwriting at College.  Being in LA for the last couple of years has been great and she has been enjoying meeting new people and she is excited to start a new year.
