In a city that grows unconditionally shapeless, it is felt as a necessity to build places that compensate this lack of urban coherence.  They hold the role of admonishment stimulating the contact between people and the local memory and heritage.   Hybrid monuments are democratic tools which allow the population to live together, to make history, in a place where public and private life are mixed together.
