What I see when I look at you is probably more than most. What I hear when I talk to you is probably more than most. I see a man with ambitions. Those ambitions aren't out of reach. You just need a little push to get there,a cheerleader to say,"You got this, go for it, and you can do it!" You need the support of people that love and cherish you. You can become anyone you want. A teacher, a comedian,an architect, whatever your heart desires.I see an amazing person that is willing to do almost anything for the love of a good woman. Searching for love everywhere you can, but not seeing what's right in front of you. Friends that love you more than anyone. A friend that will drop anything for you, treats you like family, and would definitely take care of you. The best and longest lasting relationships always start with friendship. A man that likes to spend time in his own head,wants to share those thoughts with someone, but not just anyone. Someone you can trust, respect, and love for all time. I see so many wonderful things inside you. Wonderful things you probably never thought possible. I see all the potential everyone has tried to strip away. "You need friends," he says. "You are going to need someone to talk to if something happens to me," he says. "Don't you think you will need a shoulder to cry on when I'm gone?" I need friends. No. I need a friend. One friend I know will be there when I call, no matter what. One friend that I can depend on when my darkest hour comes. One friend that will pull me back from the edge. Just one. Would I like a group? Of course I would! A group of friends I could count on when my darkest hour comes. That would be nice. I can't seem to find one at the moment. I have plenty of people I know, people I say hello to in passing, people that like my stuff on Facebook, but none are friends. None are people that would come to my rescue in the predawn hours of solitude. None would call just to check on me because they haven't heard from me in a while. None I would be able to count on. I try to find friends. I talk to all the people I meet. We always hit it off great, but that's the end of it. Always one day conversations about random things we have in common. Surprisingly, we always have a lot in common. History, books, desires, music, passions, and the list could go on. I'm always the one excited about the new friendship, but it stops before it gets started. One conversation is all I get. I could be a great friend, I think. I would ask about your day. I could even be the one you called when something awesome happened. I would be your cheerleader. I could even be the predawn phone call for a rescue. I could be the one to pull you off that edge. Best friend. I could be. Maybe. I should be. Maybe. Maybe I'm not friend material. Maybe I was meant to suffer through the darkest times without a friend. Maybe he is the only friend I get. I'm okay with that, but what about when he is gone. Who will I talk to then? Who will tell me secrets? Who will be there to hear mine? Who is going to hug me when I have a bad day? Who is going to be my cheerleader? Who will comfort me when I can't sleep? Who?
