I really want to thank Host Society for tracking me down and believing in my skills. And Sport Manitoba for trusting me with their baby. When we started this venture, no one was really sure if having a bunch of social networking sites would have any impact on the Games. This level of interaction with the community had never been done, so obviously it raised some questions.  With my background being in youth ministry and event coordination, I knew that things like Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/YouTube were great tools. Obviously I need to give credit to guys like John, Kevin, and Don for feeding me scores. The Striemer brothers, Carrie, and Rachel for the photographs. Jim for the video footage. The athletes for sharing photos on Instagram. The parents for sharing info via Twitter. Tara and Deb for really allowing me to spread my artistic wings with their property. And of course Bud a.k.a. "Games Guy" for all the work he put into connecting people to the heart of the games!  I could go on and on, but I've got a lot more footage and photos to edit and get online, because you guys keep sending me messages saying you want to see more! The torch may be extinguished, but my job's far from over.
