♚ — The various ilk that passed through Hive City were interesting in their own ways. Some possessed no ability whatsoever, supernatural or otherwise, while others were gifted with talents of the likes the Witch had never seen before. It was through this small saving grace that Bernkastel never fell entirely victim to boredom. She felt comfortable, at the very least, showing her person to newbies who hadn’t yet heard rumors of the Witch of Miracles. She knew full well that, while strong, there were still those in this city capable of taking her down.

And she just didn’t want to give anyone that satisfaction.

But thankfully, she’d stumbled onto one such piece of fresh meet. A young lad with an unusual hair style. Well… perhaps unusual was the wrong term.

“Is that really a way to greet somebody you’ve never met before..?” 

He sighed, trying to give off the air he had things to do (even though he didn’t) trying to make her less interested in having a conversation with him. He didn’t know why, but the other gave off an atmosphere that felt almost suffocating. He was sure it was just his nerves, though.
