I shortened the idea but if this were an episode it would focus on why Garnet and Topaz can’t seem to fuse and they “fail” the demonstration in front of everyone and this affects Topaz. This gives Garnet room to grow as a fusion but for comic sake, it was successful first run. Bennie is just a random headcanon character. I like the idea of Steven visiting the Gems for his birthday after being gone for however long. But I think a cool twist would be he stays gone longer to become closer to a group of friends who influence his new style, hobbies, and actions. From the gems perspective, Steven might still need space and they’re doing all they can to make it accompanying. Connie is like 16? So I can’t imagine she’ll be that much mature than she was in the show, so she’ll probably think something is weird between Bennie and Steven, overlooking it at first of course- but looking for a problem you know. Steven also realizes people wear gems and opts to get cubic zirconia studs instead of circular ones. Steven also bought his own outfit but still rocks flip flops like it’s Brazil. Shout out to yall.

Here’s Angel Aura and Pyrope. This combination been bugging me so I finally drew it. I was going to pick a rock that’s related to Sugilite but then I realized it would make more sense to use an entirely new family of minerals to choose since pyrope is a natural garnet. I chose PURPURITE sounds close enough to Sugilite, and if I do a Demantoid and Angel fusion The green that shows up in the rock can easily be integrated you know. This rock also achieves that color I’m looking for not many stones have besides Sugilite.
