I’m not convinced by the theory that Spamton ruined himself on purpose. I mean, sure—altering his appearance a bit to look like Friend and throw him off the trail? That makes sense. But disfiguring himself to the point of being unrecognizable? When has he ever been called an "Addison" outside of the past? He couldn't have undergone a modification like that; there’s nothing in the code suggesting the existence of a wrecked Addison, only a puppet (and if you compare the papier-mâché head to him... hello?). Why does it feel like established facts are being erased just because of a few lines of dialogue? They’re overlooking his entire history.

I don't know, I haven't seen anyone mention it, or I don't know if it's been mentioned before.
