they go to work every day and run a bar that barely has any customers so the majority of the time they spend talking and arguing about god knows what. limes probably. or what movie theyre gonna watch tonight. what tea they should pick up on the way home.

they go home together in dennis’ car.... the intimacy of a 15min car ride at night when at least one of u is a little tipsy and ur listening to dennis’ mixtapes of like 80s rock love songs..... dennis knows playing that one is the only one that makes mac be quiet and he can figure out why. sometimes they sing along to it together and wait in the car when they get home to finish listening to whatever song is playing. if dennis takes a while adjusting his mirrors and grabbing his stuff, mac opens the door for him.

they go in together, they have dinner together, they watch movies on the couch together with mac sitting closer and closer to dennis as the night goes on. before bed they have tea to relax at the table but sometimes they fall asleep rewatching terminator 2 and wake up sprawled on top of each other on the couch...... when mac wakes up first, he pretends to be asleep until dennis gets up. mac’s eyes are closed so he never gets to see dennis give him a look over and a small sideways smile every time this happens
