. Getting picked on 3rd year after some boys find perfume in his nightstand drawer... it's his mum's perfume.

. Wearing flavored chapstick because he genuinely loses his appetite in the Hogwarts dining hall. He feels like people are watching him- they are.

. Walking around the manor in the dead of night. He ends up outside his dad's door every time. He peeks inside to make sure he's still breathing, then continues wandering.

. Biting his cheek when someone interrupts him... again.

. Staring at the dorm ceiling awake, because he can hear people whispering about him a few beds down.

Scorpius is the literal reason why Draco gets out of bed in the morning. They have breakfast together, talk, read, watch tv, and so on before they both start their respective days. When Scorpius is away, Draco doesn't roll out of bed until 11 or so.

When Scorpius was little, he'd get frequent nightmares. After a while, he stopped waking Draco and Astoria up. He'd simply crawl into bed with them unnoticed and go to sleep. This led to Draco nicknaming him, "bedbug."

Scorpius is always teaching Draco new things. Draco, on the rare occasion he gets out, is always bringing up random facts. Then, he proudly says, "My son told me that!"

Draco wares on the side of not being physically affectionate with Scorpius. However, if something serious is happening, Draco always puts his hand on Scorpius's back.

They don't always understand each other- which is frustrating for the both of them. Though, they've learned to never let an argument last longer than a day. Overall, it's a pretty stable relationship.

Draco and Scorpius influence each other to get louder, sillier, and geekier. Things can start off tense, but it usually ends with both of them rambling on about one thing or another.

2. Draco not selling Harry out at Malfoy Manor

Whiney guy... first night he spends at the Potter-Weasley's he's insufferable. The tea he made came out too hot, his blankets at home are cozier, he stubbed his toe on the corner. He's changed a lot, but his spoiled nature is fundamental.

Insults gossip columnists on their inability to scandalize and critiques school bullies' techniques. Quote, "If you're going to be an arse, do it proper."

Buys something unnecessary and overpriced every time he leaves the manor (thank God, that's rarely). Scorpius gets dragged into every luxury shop around.

He still knows too much of Harry Potter's business (gets a lot of intel from Albus).

He's interested in fashion. He keeps a few high-end magazine subscriptions and takes notes. He is best dressed in any room.

The man can cook. When he was recovering post war, he picked up some cooking classes to keep himself productive. He kept on with the classes into Scorpius's early childhood. Now, he can just cook a five-star meal no problem.

He's also not half bad at interior design. Between him and Astoria, they renovated the manor into the right balance of warm and artsy.

He keeps a photo of Scorpius and Astoria in his wallet for comfort.

CRIER! The number one thing he learned from therapy is that his dramatic ass needs to sob every once in a while. He usually does it alone over sentimental reasons: missing lost friends, missing Astoria, getting older, being lonely. However, he tears up over Scorpius constantly. He can't help it; how does his baby just keep growing?

On the same sad note, he gets wretched nightmares. He loves sleeping though, and he often gets vivid, pleasant dreams. So, it's a bit of a Russian roulette every time he crawls into bed.

He still smokes when he drinks. It's a bad habit and he's embarrassed by it. Speaking of drinking, it's got to be a fine wine aged 1925 or lower.

It's never quiet at the manor. The quiet makes him antsy. He plays music, watches tv, and talks to himself. There's always some soft background noise.
