Greatest Prowrestling Videogame Ever(MMA too!) I wonder if the people who place No Mercy or Wrestlemania 2000 on the #1 spot of their lists have ever played this one, because it’s basically the best of them plus many, many more features and wrestlers, and match type,s and moves, and and, and... just everything...but more! Yes, I am a list nazi. Like grammar nazis but with top prowrestling videogame lists :P P.S.: Fire Pro freaks are not invited to this convo. We already know how ridiculously customizable it is. What_ever.

All Japan Prowrestling Featuring Virtua

In the proverbial rock bottom, as I make my way to my daughter, few things take my mind of my frustrations. Old school prowrestling, painting and books have kept me out of trouble. Among the finer pieces of entertainment I can sometimes distract myself with are the matches, promos and movies of this weird duck of a wrestler who was so ubiquitous on TV of my childhood, teenage and young adulthood. One of those people you never meet but feel just as important to your day-to-day sanity. He left an amazing body of work which I can revisit anytime I want whether to entertain myself or get inspired in my art. He wasn't an academic intellectual but his no-nonsense smashmouth style beats any kind of philosophy when it comes to making ends meet. And this is why I am sad, because his work is done. We're all out of Roddy Piper so I guess now it's up to us to carry on with the rowdy business and kick some ass. That oughta do it. R.I.P. #RowdyRoddyPiper
