love yourself

i think everyone can take something great out of namjoon’s words during his united nations speech (it was almost a year ago i KNOW but i’m so new to the fandom i just discovered it). he talks about how he experienced the feeling of losing oneself and failing to fight for yourself for a time, worrying about what other people thought, and not living life to his own standards. but he recovered from that and chose himself one day and since then has snapped back in the world harder than ever. i think that it just helps to show that no matter what place you’re in, and whatever hardships you’re facing, it’s never too late and you’re never too deep in it to fight your way back to the surface, and to never lose sight of your own uniqueness and worth and the many things (that you might not be aware of yet) that are individual to you that you have to offer <3 <3
