                      “It’s weirder thinking the guy I shit talked movies to while in space is now an international hero and space pirate. Which, please tell me that’s an official title now. Like, I want to see that on those statues they keep threatening you with.”

                   Mark snorts disappointedly into his coffee, shaking his head a little as he swallows. ❝ They’re still refusing to acknowledge my pirate exploits. I tell ya, you conquer an entire damn planet by yourself, & the bureaucracy won’t even give you the time of day. It’s tragic. ❞ 

          ❝ This edition of the lit magazine is so good. I mean – I mean, it’s ALWAYS good, you know that – but this one... ❞ A pause as she trails off, reading a bit more to herself. ❝ How do submissions work? Like, do you need to advertise for writers or do they just...flock to you? ❞
