the difference is that i acknowledge the glorification of cannibalism is wrong. butcher vanity does not glorify or promote cannibalism. and before someone says "oh but it doesnt have a disclaimer or a warning or a-" you do not need random vocaloid song producers online to remind you that the glorification and romanticization of cannibalism is bad whether its real or fictional.

meanwhile, proshippers use the "fiction doesnt affect reality" excuse to dullify the effect abuse and trauma has on people, and repeatedly doing this with a "it doesnt matter that im romanticizing abuse because im free to do whatever i want" mindset slowly desensitizes you to those problems over time irl. ive seen alot of proshippers become RADQUEERS (or other harmful blankqueers like basedqueer and lsdqueer) because they dont care about the "fiction is not reality" thing anymore and they crave more than that.
