Tenants of an apartment building in San Francisco have gotten together to file a $10 million dollar lawsuit against the landlord. Rents in the building start at $1,751.00. But what could justify such a large lawsuit?

For years tenants have been complaining to landlord Adib Khouri about the bed bugs and mould in the building. The building is full of both.

The building is also infested with roaches. A couple of insects are to be expected in an old building, but not this many.

There’s even the remnants of a murder that occurred in the building a year ago. The victim’s brother still lives in the building and has to see his brother’s blood splatter on the wall everyday.

There’s also a drainage problem in the building. Sewage often comes up through the pipes. The list of complaints goes on and on. A trial is scheduled for August.
