Matthew: “Mom said you used to be okay, but you got crazy.”

Johnny: “Yeah, and then you talked to yourself.”

Jasmine: “Well, there’s only so many traumas a person can withstand ‘til they take to the streets and start screaming.”

Steve: "Seriously Danny, what is your problem with the ocean? Huh? I mean, who hates water? Sixty percent of the human body is water."

Danny: "That explains why I hate people. Alright? You are at the top of my list."

"You want society to accept you, but you can't even accept yourself."

"I've realized a problem. You write short stories. And I think you like living short stories. And I'm kinda ready for the novel, you know?"

Drover: "Everything I own I can fit in my saddlebag, which is the way I like it."

Sarah: "Yes, well it's all... all very outback adventure, isn't it?"

Drover: "I'm not saying it's for everyone."

Sarah: "No, no, definitely not for everyone."

Drover: "Most people like to own things. You know, land, luggage, other people. Makes them feel secure. But all that can be taken away. But in the end, the only thing you really own is uh... is your story. Just trying to live a good one."

Mastin: "Forget it, Gibson. I hear she likes the intellectual type."

Gib: "So? I'm intellectual and stuff."

Mastin: "You're flunking English. That's your mother tongue, and stuff."

Gordon Gekko: "You know, Win, human beings... you gotta give 'em a break. We're all mixed bags."

Will: "What do you wanna be when you grow up? I mean, you're too smart to be making xeroxes and babysitting... or whatever else you do."

April: "Oh, I don't know. I don't know and I don't know how to know. You know?"

Castle: "Used to be, all she needed to feel beautiful was a pink tutu and a plastic tiara."

Martha: "We spend our whole lives trying to feel that way again."

Leonora: "Never thought I'd be back in this place."

Gus: "Yeah, that's life. It kinda shuffles the deck and there you are with the Joker again."

"I don't know that he could do it. Live the normal life he's always wanted. Walk the dog. Mow the lawn. A simple life. A happy life. For most people, it's fine. It's all they need. For him it's a waste of talent. Potential. That man was born to be a leader. He was born to do this. Anything less would diminish him and deprive this country. He can talk all he wants about a regular life. Some men aren't meant to be happy. They're meant to be great."

Mother Nature: "This is good. Now you can settle down and act your age."

Rosie: "What's that supposed to mean? Easy listening and orthopedic shoes?"

Mother Nature: "That sounds about right. Yeah."

Rosie: "Nope. I don't wanna do that. I wanna stay passionate. I wanna scream at rock concerts and... and get angry at the news. And I wanna wear mini skirts."

Mother Nature: "You're gonna look ridiculous!"

Rosie: "Yeah, well, when enough people look ridiculous, it starts to look normal."

Matt: "I don't want my daughters growing up spoiled and entitled. Liz always accuses me of stinginess but I agree with my father: you give your children enough money to do something, but not enough to do nothing."
