At Samâs comment, Puckâs lips curled into a small smirk, that quickly faded after hearing the otherâs plans for the night â which sounded pretty lame to be honest. â Come on, dude, youâre not gonna lose your job for hanging out with me. â They were adults, after all, he thought. He and Sam may have had a weird some sort of fling during the summer, to say the very least, but it didnât mean they couldnât be friends, right? â Iâm not a nark. Nor is Finn. He actually finds you pretty cool, yâknow, for a teacher and everything. â
He didnât know why he was being so insistent. Maybe it was because heâd gotten kinda used to the two of them doing their thing â he wasnât really gonna say that, though, because he was Puck. â Besides, Iâve heard John Cenaâs making his return to the wrestling ring tonight. Do ya really wanna miss that? â He raised an eyebrow before even waiting for a response. â Or we could just watch Star Wars for the thousandth time. â
.
While listening to Puck, Sam worried his lip with his teeth. The other was correct in saying that he wouldn't lose his job if he chose to take Puck up on his offer and hang out with the guy. "I know, and I know Finn wouldn't rat us out. But all it takes is another student spotting us together for rumors to start, " he responded without voicing his doubts that it would just be hanging out. He was good at self-control, but the summer had proven that when it came to spending time with Puck, he was sorely lacking any when it came down to hanging out with the young man he was currently talking to.Â
Sam tilted his head at the mention of wrestling. "Not really, no. And it would be a lot cooler to watch the dude's return in the ring with someone instead of screaming at the TV alone." He chuckled as Puck mentioned Star Wars, feeling his resolves why it was better not to go to Puck's place disappear. "Okay, okay. How about I get us some take-out and meet you at your place?"
