Review: Oh.. my... dear... lord. I have not enjoyed a drama such as this in a long long long time. Story - Great. Cast - Amazing. Ending - Good. Looked forward to watching this every damn week. Im sad that its over TT.
First off. I really enjoyed that this drama didnt solely focus on a romantic aspect. Sure there were two romance plot lines but... it wasnt the MAIN focus of the story. For once, i really enjoyed that and was captivated by the story of this judge who stirred up trouble.Ā Mr...Ā Sung....Dong.....Il.......who plays Senior JudgeĀ Han Se-Sang.... I will watch anything and everything this man is in. He is one of my favorite actors and stellar to boot. I swear he can play anything. He really shines in this role. Hilarious and forthcoming.... outspoken and opinionated. Ugh... I love watching him act. He plays the mentor and superior to the next two character.
Go Ara, who plays JudgeĀ Park Cha O Reum, and L, who playsĀ Im Ba-Reun, are the Senior judges left and right associate judges. They deliver sentences to the civil cases... Cha O Reum is starting fresh in her position and looks at everything with her heart. Ba-Reun looks at everything by the books... but with Cha O Reum there now... he starts to question his thoughts.
It is really quite intriguing to watch these two interact and develop throughout the plot. Each new case or incident bring a new issue that sparks new ideas and motivations in both of them. Each new case seemingly more difficult than the next.Ā
I have only seen both of these actors in a couple of dramas and I absolutely love watching them. Either together or separately. Their chemistry here is really something.Ā
The bromance that is shown betweenĀ Im Ba-Reun and his coworker JudgeĀ Jung Bo-Wang is really adorable. It doesnt really go into the back story of how this bromance came about but i dont think it really matters. These two polar opposites really mesh well together and their interactions are so cute.
The secondary love story that is present had to be my favorite.... Since its like the underdog who gets the girl.... even tho the underdog isnt really the underdog. HAHAHAH. It was really great to see these two get past all the misunderstandings and show off their cutesy side. You dont find out how they really met until the end, so I wont spoil that -_^
I would definitely watch this again when I have the time.Ā Score: 8
