URGENT: A police raid on Atlanta's forest gives us reason to believe that they'll start clearing the trees some time this week. Please spread the news, even if you live nowhere near Atlanta — we need all eyes on us! We need widespread support to save the forest and stop cop city!
Now is a great time to learn about the movement to Stop Cop City, which will most directly impact BIPOC in Atlanta but will also have far-reaching impacts across the nation. This is a racial justice issue, an environmental justice issue, a queer & gender justice issue, a class issue, and on and on — if you care about anything, you'll care about what's happening in Atlanta's forests right now.

It's also a great time to donate either to the solidarity fund that helps bail out activists or to the "stop the swap" lawsuit to keep this destruction from happening.

Some of these include: Home Depot, Chick-fil-A (yet another reason to boycott this shitty chain lol), Coca Cola, Truist Bank, Delta, and AT&T.
The police are spinning their usual false narratives about what's going on; this article does a good job some of countering those lies — especially ones pertaining to arrests made at a peaceful concert in the forest a couple weeks ago.

hi my names tyler im black, trans, and i need financial help unfortunately, my mother got her car repossessed bc of ignoring bills and is attempting to get it back but until she does she will be using my car to get to work for the next two weeks
she currently works an hour away from where we live and takes my sister to school in that area as well, because of this i wouldn’t have a way to get to work because ubers in my area are expensive and few in between, and i’m about to spend the remaining money i have on a urgent allergist appointment (march 28) and in going to be out of work for three days regardless to monitor how i respond to treatment (my copay is $30 and depending on what steroid treatment i get it could be up to $100)
im going to try to talk to my managers about what i can do but i currently have no more pto so if possible i’d appreciate any help i can get while we figure this out, my mother is physically and verbally abusive so i’m unable to even ask where the money she’s been spending goes for this to even happen and she’s putting a lot of the blame on me rn, this is slightly urgent now because this money will most likely go toward getting her car back and groceries as we have none and i was planning to use my following week paycheck toward that, i really don’t want to reach into my savings because i’m attempting to move out to get away from her as she constantly takes money from me and makes me pay personal expenses, really sorry to do this but I don’t have many options, I need my car back as soon as possible and well that’s kinda it i hate my mom. hi a bit of an update, good / bad news is i got diagnosed with asthma on top being allergic to everything but tree nuts, so now i know what the real problem is but i also had to pay an additional $40 on top of the $30 copay for my medication and inhalers, and my doctor heavily recommended i get an air purifier for my room as my lungs are inflammed and i found a much cheaper one at target over the ones they recommended that’s only $99,
again i really appreciate any help i can get i still don’t have access to my car and likely won’t get much if any payment for the next two weeks until i can work again, proof below if needed
