-Standing on a abandoned sidewalk, pitch black except for a flicking streetlight above you. You’re illuminated before your beloved before slipping into the darkness. They’ll spend the rest of the night wondering if they need their eyes checked.

-Cutting vegetables to cook for your beloved and cutting your fingers. You let your blood drip into the food, so you’ll always be a part of them. Whether or not the cut was on purpose can be our little secret.

-Writing letters to them professing your love that you don’t have the courage to send. You’re running out of room to store them all.

-Lying in bed unable to sleep because they’re not beside you. You wonder if you could sleep in their bed. Their bedroom window doesn’t have a lock, right?

-Polishing your weapon of choice if they’re awful busy lately. Just in case.

-Keeping a blade strapped to your thigh at all times. It keeps poking and slicing you, but you don’t mind.
