“Alexei specifically is the best cuddle buddy, just don’t tell my husband that I said that,” She told her leaning in as if she was telling her a secret. “But dogs are man’s best friend after all. They’re the best.”

“Your secret is safe with me, I’ll make sure he never finds out.” The blonde teased, laughter coating her words. “That’s true. That’s why people had them a thousand or so years ago. I don’t believe you can ever replace dogs.”

“He’s a Newfoundland which at least means if I’m ever drowning he’ll save me at least. But he’s easily the same size as I am if not bigger,” she admitted in amusement as she shook her head.

“That’s a good thing, and they seem like they could be amazing cuddle buddies. Yeah, they look quite big.” Her own eyes were lit with amusement, especially as she pictured the other princess next to her large dog.

Lilya had always loved large dogs so having a puppy jump on her was nothing compared to when she went to her room and saw Alexei who tended to jump all over her the moment she walked through the door. “She’s completely fine. Trust me my own dog is well over hundred and fifty pounds.”

“What kind of dog do you have? I know Pippa won’t be that much when she’s full grown, so I have a feeling you have a larger dog than her?” She wondered, brown hues soft as she looked at the brunette.

The princess shook her head quickly, dismissing any sort of apology. “Absolutely not! She probably just smells my dog on me. Poor little puppies. We slept side by side last night but I’m sure who was comforting who. Perhaps we can take Peach and Pippa on a little stroll to get more acquainted?” 

“Maybe that’s it, but still I’m sorry that she did that. Perhaps she just picked up your dog’s scent, and was confused as to why you weren’t a dog. That’ll be a great idea, Pippa could use a friend around here besides me.” She laughed, before holding out her hand. “I’m Eleanora, I figured we should be acquainted before our dogs.”

“hurt me?” max scrunched his nose, kneeling down so that he could pet the familiar pup. “you’d never do that would you, pippa?” anybody would think he was talking to a baby by the tone of his voice but he didn’t mind — soon getting to his feet to see his sister. 

“She would, yes. Especially if she was excited over seeing a familiar face. “ She shrugged, while a smile grew on her lips at the sight of her older brother. Once Max stood up from his kneeling position, Eleanora moved to give him a hug before pulling away and picking Pippa up. “I missed you, Max. Have you been here long, or did you just arrive?” She wondered, while a slender brow raised.

Akiko: Well when my parents told me I had to come here, the way they worded it made it sound like I wouldn't be able to leave

Akiko: Remind me to give them an earful about it whenever I see them next

Eleanora: I think that might've been their way of making sure nothing happens to you?

Eleanora: My parents told me not to wander off too far from the castle, mostly because they think my curiosity will lead me into trouble.

Eleanora: I'm pretty sure you are allowed to leave?

“hey! listen, it’s a long story, okay? but. can you hand me that? I’d get it myself, but…” But from their place up on the ledge, it wasn’t a convenient reach. It had been awkward enough to get up there once, and while getting down would be no problem, getting back up might prove to be, and they couldn’t lose this view.

Eleanora looked up from her camera a confused expression on her face, before dark hues flickered to the other royal as she nodded her head with a small smile. The blonde moved to where the item lay, and held it up for the other to see. “Is this it? It’s the only thing here, but maybe something rolled off the table?” She questioned, as she bit down on her lip slightly.
