michael cimino, cis-male + he/him | you know felix casanova, right? they’re twenty-two, and they’ve lived in irving for, like, three months? well, their spotify wrapped says they listened to grand theft autumn / where is your boy by fall out boy like, a million times this year, which makes sense ‘cause they’ve got that whole doing the opposite of what people expect, worn out converse sneakers, shirtless instagram pictures thing going on. i just checked and their birthday is october 31st, so they’re a scorpio, which is unsurprising, all things considered. ABOUT FELIX CASANOVA
felix was born on october 31st, 1999 to edwin and valeria casanova, in california. he is the eldest of four siblings.
growing up his family lived in a big house, had the newest clothing, newest technology, and any thing else felix and his siblings wanted their parents would give it to them. the one thing felix never understood was how his parents made money. while most of his friends parents went to work in an office felix’s parents stayed home. when he’d ask trying to get a better understanding they’d say “we are our own bosses owning a business” or “we help people find products they’d love in nutrition, beauty, personal care and home good.” being just a young kid, felix took the answer at face vale.
playing sports was felix’s area of expertise any one he played he excelled in. football and basketball were the two he loved most. every year his family would come to the games to watch him play. but soon felix began to realize his mother and father using this time to network their business. they’d pray on other families to join under them and sell the products. which worked, rich people would spend their money on anything. it got to the point most of felix’s teammates parents were in the business as well. so they would show up to the game and sell the business to parents of the other team. felix’s coach had to tell him not to have his parents show up to the game. although felix was very embarrassed about it he was happy to do so.
when felix got older he realized his parents weren’t the nicest of people. while they give him and his siblings a really great life, they were hurting other people around them. felix searched the company they worked for and realized it was a pyramid scheme. he tried confronting his parents and telling them to get out of it. they didn’t. his parents told him if he can’t support them, they don’t want felix living in their house.
felix was just seventeen when he got kicked out. he was couch surfacing until he went off to college. felix got accepted to many colleges on an athletic scholarship and felix went to the school furthest away from california. he wanted to start a new life for himself. everything in california had a horrible memory connected to it. felix needed to discover who he was. college is where he was able to do just that.
FACTS ABOUT FELIX
speaks to his younger siblings almost daily. they never got involved in what their parents business. but it took some time for them to actually talk.
sunny is his ex boyfriend. they dated throughout high school. although felix did the breaking up, he’ll always have a special place in his heart for them.
he’s bisexual. he did come out to his family and they were very accepting.
if his parents do reach out to felix they shame him for working a typical 9-5 job. but it’s really rare for them to even speak. felix does love his parents but isn’t working on making their relationship better.
felix is convinced his parents are brainwashed and in a cult.
