After washing the bowl that was within the sink, you wiped your hands within the small towel laying on the counter’s surface. A soft buzzing noise caught your attention causing you to turn your head and look towards your lighted phone, making you grin and walk towards it to pick it up to press the little green button on the screen.
“Well hello there!” You greeted your boyfriend Taehyung, causing him to do his signature “V” pose with his fingers before waving.
“Hello, Jagiya.” he greeted back, a child-like smile on his face making you blush.
“How were rehearsals?” You tilted your head, spotting the bags beneath his eyes but kept quiet for the fact you didn’t wish to start an argument this late at night.
He sighed, his hand running through his hair as he leaned back against the frame of the hotel bed, a frown setting on his lips making you scrunch your nose.
“Hey, don’t let it eat you up, okay? Everyone is human and that includes you, babe. Keep your head up. Everyone has bad days. It is okay to have them..” You reassured, resting yourself on the counter, your feet kicking out, out of habit. Tae just bit his lip, nodding at your words.
“When do you have to be up tomorrow?” you asked, looking at the time to see it was already one in the morning. Knowing he was ahead of you by an hour, you figured this call wont last long which didn’t bother you. hearing his voice and seeing his face was kept your worry at bay.
“Uhhhh-” he looked over the phone to the digital clock sitting on the end table by the bed, “I have to be up at 7 am.” He yawned, looking back at the screen. You licked your lips, giving a nod.
“You should sleep then.” You stated, wanting him to be fully rested for tomorrow’s practice. He whined slightly, making a brow raise at the sound.
“I wanted to talk to you more.” He mumbled.
“I understand that, but you need your energy, Please rest.Call me tomorrow, okay?” You smiled softly at him, causing him to rub his face out of annoyance and defeat before nodding.
“Okay, I’ll sleep. Dream of me, okay?” He grinned ear to ear, causing you to snort.
“Yea, okay. Night, Tae. Saranghamnida” You winked, causing him to snicker and repeat.
As the call ended, something stirred within the pit of your stomach as if you could feel something bad was going to happen. Looking at your phone while gnawing on your lip, you slipped off the counter and to your room to sleep.
