Wada Kōji, January 29, 1974 – April 3, 2016.

An hour ago I was told Japanese singer, Wada Kōji had passed away a few days ago.

I honestly can’t stop crying at the news. All I want to say is that this man’s songs, and I’m talking about his magnificent work on the Digimon anime series, have been one of the most memorable, dearest, and cherished songs and times of my childhood.

I Wish I could say more; but I am truly heartbroken right now. My condolences and thoughts are with his family, friends, and with his fans. God, I’m such a mess… Mr. Wada you have fought well the terrible decies that is cancer. You had a Brave Heart. Thank you so much for the beautiful covers of classics like Butter-fly and Seven for the Aniversary event that is Digimon Adventure Tri. We were blessed to have you back, even if it was for soon to have to say goodbye…

Please, I hope you Rest In Peace. You will never be forgotten.
