I just tried to write a poem n almost died. Never trying to get in touch w my emotions again !!!

This kinda stuff is actually really inspirational to those of us with uncommonly mixed heritage, regardless of if you’re this particular mix just seeing other mixed people make their backgrounds their own instead of being forced to choose is so important for mixed children growing up tbh

guys please help my baby brother got accepted to Morehouse, his dream school, and he wants to be a doctor and this is just so much for my family to deal with and hes just a kid and he should just be worried about school not about if he’ll have a home or not 

I am keeping the goal at $3000 just in case so please please keep boosting because it needs to be paid before July 16

Guys please help my family. My brothers and mom can’t even get groceries sometimes because its so hard and this is just one of the worst things that has ever happened to us

the real “problem with political correctness” is not that it’s considered offensive to use slurs, but that there are now many “progressive” environments where saying the right things is more important than doing the right thing. it’s why it’s so easy for abusers to gain traction in leftist circles (they learn the right words quickly and employ them to frame their own behavior as progressive); it’s why so much potential activist energy gets poured into fighting about language; it’s why moderate liberals didn’t believe fer/guson had a problem until the police emails with actual racist language were leaked. (you can do racist things, you just can’t SAY racist things.) i don’t have a neat conclusion here but a related point is that i’m so much happier since i started focusing on like, being a good kind caring person instead of trying to remove the word “crazy” from the vocabulary of everyone in my family

Normalize bare faces in ALL settings. Makeup should not be a requirement for beauty, professionalism or hygiene. Normalize the idea that if applying makeup isn’t enjoyable there’s no reason to be wearing it. Then destroy the elitism within makeup culture and destroy the idea that makeup as a hobby requires spending a lot of money.

Reminder that the US is slowly committing genocide on Puerto Ricans through environmental racism and colonial repression.
