Princes of the Apocalypse

The adventurers are not alone in their concern for the delegation. In fact, the entire region of the Dessarin Valley is buzzing about the delegation, which will travel from Mirabar, a city far north of Red Larch (see Sword Coast Map),  through each of the villages and towns all the way to Waterdeep. The delegation brings scholars, merchants, tradesmen, and politicos from around the region. Many from the southern regions (a few as far south as Baulder’s Gate) are traveling north to Red Larch to get a “first glance” at the delegation, or to have a first pick at the wares being sold and traded. Some expect the delegation to be a political maneuver, in effort to unite the north and south eastern regions of the Sword Coast, others think it is an opportunistic mercantile trek engineered by the crafty Mirabarian entrepreneurs. Some seek knowledge from the delegation’s intellectuals (some delegates as far north as Icewind Dale), others seek profit through expanding their markets and purchasing valuable items for resell, while still others have undisclosed reasons for watching, tracking, and observing the delegation.
