There were three chairs across from the principal’s desk; two were empty, but in the middle chair, there sat a little girl that couldn’t be more than six years old; she leaned back against the cushion, arms crossed, a deep pout on her face and bruises and scrapes all up her legs and arms, and even some on her face. As Feliks had surmised, she was less than pleased.
The principal nodded, and gestured to the chairs; Feliks sat on Fryderyka’s right, Maddie sitting peacefully on his lap. She spoke, “I called you in today to discuss some.. concerning behaviors that we have seen arise from your daughter as of late.”
Matthew sat on the left of Frederyka, furrowing his eyebrows. Hopefully this wouldn’t take too long...if it did take too long, he knew she would end up trying to defend herself. Which could cause more trouble. “Concerning?” he asked, voice steady and calm.
