This is functioning as a mini article of sorts so I'll keep this quick but WOAH it's been about 6 years since I made a seriously in depth cosplay like this, and the atmosphere around photography and what's appropriate to ask someone in cosplay has changed completely. I had no idea that by saying yes to having my photo taken, I was also saying yes to it being posted online -_-

Ah well, live and learn. Most of the people I met were very lovely, and We All Love Katamari Damacy, but take it from me you should always be aware of your surroundings, move in groups, and trust your gut! If you're uncomfortable with someone talking to you or taking your picture, you ALWAYS have the right to say no (it's so simple, but it totally didn't occur to me in the moment).
