Library seems to be secure, now I just have to check the Royal Vault and I can meet Rapunzel later.

[Eugene made his way to the Royal Vault and saw something different about it, as if someone tampered with it]

*skeptically*

Hmm, I don’t remember any of the guards saying they opened the Vault?

[Eugene opens the door and walks in inspecting if anything was missing, he noticed half the jewels were stolen]

*shocked*

What?! Someone stole from the Vault?!

*Calls Stan and Pete*

Stan, Pete I need you to lock down the castle, don’t let anyone in or out till I say so.

[Stan and Pete Nod and begin to lock down the castle]

*sighs*

Eugene? Did you say someone stole from the-

[He glances in the door, and his jaw drops. The room was practically empty.]

...Oh my word-

[Varian starts to get a sour taste in his mouth, but pushes the thoughts he has away.]

From what it looks like, it was pretty recent.

Most likely when we were celebrating the Return of you and your mom, that would have been the only time anyone could have stolen anything from the vault.

Uh, what makes you think it was at the celebration?

Varian, it had to be during that time. The lock of the vault was untouched and we had guards Patrol here everyday, except for that day, It would have been easy for anyone to steal from the vault.

*Ponders inspecting the lock*

[He rubs the back of his neck then catches himself doing it, and moves his hand back down to his side.]

And...and neither would Hugo-

I’m not saying it was them, but I still have to go with what I’m seeing and the only one who has this type of skill and wasn’t there at the party was Hugo.

Look I know they are your friends, and I don’t like suspecting them more than you do but.. No body saw Hugo at the party, and they haven’t seen him recently either.

It looks bad for him right now, and since I’m Captain I’m going to have to find out who did this and bring those jewels back. But, if you give me one good reason as to why Hugo wouldn’t do it and affirm me that this isn’t his style..

Look, I know the evidence is stacked up pretty high against Hugo. And I can’t...I can’t say it wasn’t him either.

But- even if it was, I really don’t think he acted alone. This doesn’t seem like something he’d do. Maybe earlier, yeah, but now-
