People have different views on fate. Some people believe that your future is set in stone and you can’t change it no matter how hard you try. Others believe that you can change your future and make it whatever you want. I believe something else. I believe fate to be something like this: You are driving and you see a railroad crossing. A train is coming, you can either try to quickly drive over the tracks, or you can wait. If you decide to try to make it across the tracks your car could stall in the middle of the tracks. You could try to get out and run. If you did you could get your foot caught in the tracks and trip. Or you could decide to wait safely for the train to pass. But, if you do a car could ram into you from behind and push you into the middle of the tracks. The train will inevitably run over you. But, you have the power to decide how you end up on the tracks in the first place.
