Today was quite stressful, so I had to miss some lectures and go back home to sleep it off. However I still got some stuff done.

Rundown for today:

It turns out I signed up for a student conference on Saturday and forgot about it, so I am quite happy I get to go after all! It's a surgery-focused conference with international speakers and I hope to learn a great deal.

Day 1? (again)

I managed to be extremely productive even though I slept a total of maybe 3 hours yesterday. So yay me.

What I did:

Biopython - basic sequencing commands

Physiology notes

made flashcards for Biochem

1,5 Biochem lecturer for the final

German - half a chapter of my coursebook

sent an overdue assignment to my professor

sent the final finallll manuscript of my thesis to my mentor

French Duolingo

did my laundry!

English tutoring in the morning

made springrolls

This rundown seems much more like a stream of consciousness, but honestly I'm just putting down my thoughts as they appear :)))

Productivity log

Sooo I slept almost 6 hours today during the day to make up for the sleepless night yesterday. So now full of coffee and energised I have successfully completed all my assignments. Could have done more but honestly sleep is calling my name after all and I have to get up for 8 am classes.

I also got into an exchange programme for vet student so that is exciting! We're going to Turkey in March.

I don't feel guilty. I had fun, studied a little, but mostly had fun and relaxed. That was what I needed just before exam season. Now I need to plan for the exams I have as well as defending my thesis. So I will have my hands full either way if I want to pass them all.

Maybe learn some medical german for the test?

I hope I can get back to coding this month when I get the chance, but it will still be waiting for me. Realistically I need to be know Python by September, so I have some more time.

I know it might seem like im excusing myself but to be honest I find it really comforting that I can spit out my study thoughts into the internet void that is tumblr. And maybe I will be able to reflect on that at the end of the year.

Productivity was semi acceptable yesterday. Mostly I focused on getting places on time which proved to be more difficult than I thought. Again. I forgot to do my Duolingo because I was running everywhere.
