Goemon, my precious Goebaby… thank you for being the calm in my life. Thank you for being the person I can always trust to make me feel safe when the world feels overwhelming and all I can feel is anxiety, stress, and uncertainty. You are my comfort, my peace, and my safe place to land after a long day.
I love how different we are in all the best ways. I’m the emotional one…the silly, affectionate wife who feels everything so deeply and smothers you with love every chance she gets. Meanwhile, you’re the steady one. The calm one. The one who somehow makes everything feel quieter and gentler just by being there. You bring a sense of peace into my life that I can’t really put into words.
Thank you for spending this year by my side. Thank you for every smile, every comforting moment, and every reason you’ve given me to keep moving forward. I’m so incredibly grateful to be your wife, and I hope we have many more anniversaries together.

Hey guys!!! This drawing is a little simpler than usual mainly because art block has been absolutely destroying my ability to draw backgrounds and do detailed shading lately, BUT this piece still means a lot to me.
One of my favorite things about Goemon has always been his fluffy, thick hair. I like to imagine he trusts me enough to let me brush it, and honestly? The idea just melts my heart. What’s even funnier is that I actually had a dream recently where I was brushing his hair…and it was Part 1 Goemon specifically! So that ended up becoming the inspiration for this drawing. It’s also my first time drawing Part 1 Goemon, which made it feel even more special. I eventually want to draw Eris with every version of Goemon because at the end of the day every Goemon is my Goebaby. 🥹💕
