Looks into his tea. 

The basis of the matter is, that he is sterile ever since he became a psuedo homonculus. There is less souls in him then the other siblings and there is less power then he would have not wanted. But to have children... was that a choice that was affordable? He was already pushing it with falling in love. 

 ...

There was silence … and then Reia burst out into laughter, a hand covering her mouth as she had to stop in her walking. “that’s certainly a better topic rather than politics!” She said. “I suppose I must be lucky my husband is so fit!” and he certainly was at his peak condition .. while he may admire her curves, she admired his muscles equally as much.

He feels like he should say something witty. 

 “It that right? mmm.” 

he couldn’t, because he’s still rendered speechless by this wonderful person. The only thing he ever chose in his life. 

“Increase in sugar?” Reia repeated, steering her dear husband towards the little cafe she had pointed out. “Ah, can you think of nothing but politics? Sometimes I wonder if your ultimate goal is to be fuhrer someday.” She would never understand how right she was to make that assumption. “It’ll be fine, darling. Please, just think of something other than work for once!”

 “Its a old wound, very ugly. I don’t...feel comfortable showing it.”

ah this man was just so dense sometimes! That was his endearing quality…. perhaps she can teach him more as they live together. “Nevermind that, darling.” Reia said, placing her hand on the inside of his arm. “Lets go to a cafe since we finished this! There’s a nice one nearby, King.”

Purchase is done but King still thinks exercise gear is something that should have been bought. But then again women were mysterious kinds of people he didn’t think he understood. 

She had just nearly praised him for his gift giving skills. Nearly. Then the man had to go and open his mouth. “King … no.” Reia replied, turning her gaze up at him. “The tea is perfectly fine. Let’s just go ahead and get this.”

She can’t decide whether he’s more smart or stupid half the time.

”AH?” REIA PEERED DOWN AT the gift he held in his hands, eyebrows raised. “Normally …. I’d tell you to put it back down.” She said, reaching to brush her fingers along the fabric of the pouch the tea was held in. “But this girl in particular is very health conscious. I think this is a perfect gift, dear.”

Dear, it can’t be helped that he sometimes still acts like a blushing virgin more then his own ...wife. 

 “If she’s so health weary...maybe get her gym equipment instead?”

The best parts? She could describe them but…. it was best if she just showed it to him! With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she offered up a hand, expecting him to take it.

”I’ll take you to my favorite spot, if you’d like.”

For a moment he sees something different then just a woman offering her hand.

 “...Sorry, I can’t really go out too long. Especially at night.”
