Dealer by Foxing. Easily one of my favourite LPs from 2015, this band is another Instagram discovery for me. How to describe it...? Post-emo-folk? Who cares. Beautiful artwork and music, emotive vocals, skyscraping builds...so good.Â

Promise Everything by Basement. Just some really good solid alt rock grunge 90s vibin’ shit. I see what all the fuss is about. How are their previous LPs? Love this.Â
Everything You've Come To Expect by The Last Shadow Puppets. Amazing package here from@dominorecordco. And a brilliant album so far. I'm actually catching some Richard Ashcroft solo vibes for the #theverve fans out there. Not sure yet if this equals or betters the debut but it's off to a Great start.
A bit more Record store day...this is Solarized by Ian Brown. A really good album. It's actually amazing how solid King Monkey's solo output has been almost from day one. I feel he doesn't get the credit he deserves. His solo records are all highly enjoyable. This is no exception. Finally on vinyl, of 2000.Â
The Magnificent Tree by Hooverphonic. From this year's RSD, limited to 1000. Hooverphonic is one of my favourite trip hop groups, but this was their "pop" album. Maybe more of a transitional LP, TMT is their third LP and saw them experimenting with more pop and orchestral textures. I saw them tour this album in university and it has many faves on it. Check out "Out of Sight".

Modern classic. Hard to believe this came out in 2003. The album and its art have become iconic. They don't miss a beat on this one and it's infinitely replayable I find.Â
Better than I remember. Angels & Airwaves' second LP "I-Empire". It's very samey throughout, but is actually kicking out some good times. So positive, much U2 Edge guitar vibes. A blast from the past, sadly let down by the acoustic tracks on the D side. Another good press and package from @srcvinyl.Â
Catherine Wheel’s epic follow up to their debut Ferment. Chrome. The band ditched shoegaze trappings for harder melodic rock, without losing their Talk Talk and Chameleons influences, or dreamy qualities. produced by Gil Norton. Bands like Death Cab For Cutie and Interpol have claimed this album was hugely influential to them. Not a bad track, check out Pain, Crank, Show Me Mary, Strange Fruit, The Nude and Fripp.
Morning spins. Whenever, If Ever by The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die....that's a mouthful. This is an earful as well. Challenging and emotive, easy and hard at the same time. Such a unique dash of new emo for lack of a better term.Â
Grandfeathered by Pinkshinyultrablast. Dayyyyuuummm. Look at that. This is the Acid Lollypop variant and it looks amazing. To me this evokes Cocteau Twins vs MBV. Some more strong shoegaze dreampop from the #clubac30 team.

Blackstar by Bowie. What an artist. Pretty heavy record in so many ways.Â
Ever have an album that you didn't like come back to you and hold you tight? Anberlin has long been one of my fave bands, but I did not like Lowborn when it came out. Maybe I was upset they were breaking up, maybe the mood was wrong, I loved Vital so much so could this album touch it? Tonight...man I am loving it. Some amazing moments on it.Â
Going Blank Again by Ride. I think this might be fave album by Ride. Twisterella goes a long way towards that opinion. I'm not sure. Need to think about it...
Haven't heard this for a while but it's fun and gloriously short. Good pop.Â
Massive Attack will make you strong just like a vitamin. This LP is pretty decent, don't ya think? Classic tunes, iconic artwork. My only beef is that you can barely tell which disc and side is which.Â

On the Massive tip, you'd never know this was the Attack. This is the new Ritual Spirit EP. Hand Screened by#robertdelnaja for @thevinylfactory. It's good, but my copy is not numbered like they are supposed to be.Â
Nu-Clear Sounds by Ash. One of my fave bands. One of the most consistent bands out there IMO. Also consistently piss me off by playing in NYC and not Toronto. Yeah that's right@ash_1977 @timwheeler1977 y'all heard me. Drinks and food on me if you pop up here. This is nice on clear wax but mine had two b-side labels. Makes it hard to find Wild Surf.Â
