i haven’t actually experienced a brat/brat tamer dynamic yet but the more i think about it the more i realize i’m realllllyyyy drawn to it. teasing just comes very naturally to me with people im comfortable with. i like pushing buttons a little. i like testing reactions. i like being looked at like “you know exactly what you’re doing.” and to be honestttt i love boundaries. not in a super restrictive authoritative way (unless im being really bad 😝), but in a comforting way. rules make me feel cared for i guess. i love the idea of someone telling me to go to bed at a certain time, reminding me to take care of myself, correcting me when i’m being difficult, rewarding me for small things because they know praise works on me. it’s the dream. yes please put me on a bedtime schedule and read to me until i fall asleep. yes i want structure. yes i want someone patient enough to handle me teasing them while also fully intending to fold the second they get serious. i think people misunderstand bratting sometimes (maybe because of bad experiencesss???? ) but for me it’s not about disrespect at all. it’s playful and requires a ton of trust. it’s wanting attention and reactions and boundaries and guidance from someone older, and safer. i want someone who can look at me knowingly and go “enough.” i think an experience like bratting would change me.
