Pretty Little Pixels

So today I finally lost it. I snapped, and ended up cussing my stepdad out. I’ve talked about him on here before, and this is way worse than him being an alcoholic. I won’t say what he’s messed up on now, but it’s really bad. I ended up calling him selfish, pathetic, and a monster. I told him that he’s lucky I’m such a strong person, and after all the BS he has put us through, I’m a much stronger person. He looks me dead in the eye, and says “good.” So, I called him a selfish Mother fucker and walked out of the room, slamming the door behind me. Before that, he got up in my face and I finally told him that I’m not scared of him anymore. 

“Peri, there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you.”

“What is it?”

“Well, I would love more children but..I was thinking we could look into adopting? I would love to give a child a chance at having a loving family.”

“Hmm..I think that sounds like a wonderful idea, Poppy.”

“You really think so?”

“I do! Like you said, we would be giving that child a loving family and a good home. We have plenty of room, so if this is something you really want we will do it!”

“It is, and you are a wonderful husband. I love you.”
