If you’re ever lucky enough to find a girl who is a hopeless romantic with a dirty mind, you should hold onto that. Because she’ll be yours at two in the morning and at two in the afternoon the following day. She’ll kiss you where it hurts and until it hurts. And that’s important. Someone who not only knows how to turn you on but also knows how to treat you right is someone worth a little something… and a little more than usual.

If you ever want to know what someone craves or wants from you, pay attention to the little things they do for you. See if they trace your skin with their fingers. See if they snuggle up to your back when you roll over asleep. See if they grab your hand to walk, or in the car, and kiss your fingers. See if they kiss your back or forehead to wake you up. If they buy your favorite things by surprise. People will give what they’d want done for them, in hopes that the actions will be reciprocated.

I find it fascinating that people who choose not to have children are generally assumed to feel really strongly about not having children (or even to feel really strongly against children, anyone’s children, in general). I am probably not going to have children, not because I REALLY REALLY HATE the idea of having children, but because I don’t really really love it. Out of all the major decisions I will make in my life, this one is the only irreversible one. I can sell a house, quit a job, divorce a spouse, whatever. I cannot unhave a child. I cannot opt out of being a parent once I become a parent. I can’t even take a step back for the sake of self-care or whatever, or else my child will suffer.
