Send âTrick or Treat! Â đâ to my inbox and Iâll give you a treat! This could be: a promo graphic, icons, an aesthetic graphic of your muse, a drabble, a photoset of our muses together, a moodboard based on one of our threads, or some other goodie! Happy Halloween! Â Letâs celebrate!
I miss my personal blog. I never remember to go check it. I'm kinda considering moving my role playing to a sideblog from my personal, since I only rp with a few of ya and I'm not trying to be a popular roleplayer or anything. Also I have your replies. They will be being posted throughout the day. I'm on mobile but if you want a reply now for back and forth and you can trim for me let me know :)
Curls
Curls were so strange. Their texture varied from lock to lock, some twisting be left, others right, and some change direction halfway through the strands. But it was one of Elisabethâs favorite textures. She loved to run her fingers through Etienneâs curls, the weight of his head gently pressing down on her lap as he either read to her, or even just while they talked.
She loved it when he laughed especially. Sheâd have to pause her fingers from combing through his hair as he shook to keep from yanking it accidentally. And sheâd easily enough be able to trace her fingers around his face, and rub her thumb across his lips. Those quiet moments were some of her favorites, and she could hardly ever think of a time sheâd ever been so content.
Frustration
Elisabeth chewed on her knuckle as she sat on the couch, legs tucked up beneath her as she tried to keep her mind focused on the musical piece playing from the stereo. But her mind was distracted by thoughts of Etienne.
Theyâd been married now for almost six months. Six blissful months, that werenât without their arguments and spats, but overall were otherwise wonderful. Sheâd grown comfortable with him and with herself on a more physical level. And after only a couple months of learning the (for lack of a better phrase) ins and outs of sex, had even found herself to be initiating and surprising Etienne once in a while.
But that afternoon was particularly troublesome. While she was craving to crawl under the sheets with her husband, it was also the day dear Mother Nature had decided to gift her with an obnoxious monthly gift. And until then, she was still firmly of the mindset that sex was off limits during that week of the month.
But Etienne walking back and forth in the room, his cologne trailing along behind him, and the little touches on her shoulder or the kisses on her cheek every once in a while as he passed by were starting to drive Elisabeth crazy.
âStop touching me!â she finally blurted out as his lips were just hovering near her neck. Startled, he backed a step away, his hands flying back at her sudden retort until he was fighting back laughter as she explained. âYouâre too much for me to handle right now, and if you try to kiss me like that youâre only going to frustrate me even more and Iâm already on edge right now. I canât even focus on the concert piece!â
âSo I shouldnât touch you likeâŚthis?â He teased, sliding his hands down her arms to thread his fingers through hers as he leaned over the back of the couch and kissed her jaw.
Elisabeth squeezed his hands slightly and shut her eyes, savoring the kiss before she shook her head a little bit. âExactly,â se said, but still held his hands to keep him close.
âOr this?â he asked again, wrapping their arms together around her waist and dropping his kiss lower to her shoulder.
Elisabeth whined, annoyed at the inconveniences of womanhood and wishing it was any other day. âEtieeeeeeeenne! Stop it, really now,â she sighed, letting his hands go so he could step away. He kissed the top of her head and chuckled, amused to see her so frustrated as she sat there with her arms crossed on the couch.
âYouâll have to make it up to me this weekend for being so cruel and teasing me like that!â she said, holding in a snarky smirk as she counted down the days until the weekend.

Sometimes I wish the computer and tv were in a different room so when my husbands face is sucked into a screen all day I could just pretend he wasn't home rather than have to listen to the pew pew pew of his games all day.
Im like depressed or something idk
If we are RPing together
you do not have to:
get to my thread just because youâre working on other replies
avoid posting often just because weâre both online and itâs your turn
push yourself to write something just because you see me on
I understand:
that sometimes you only get muse for certain threads
you may not know what to reply with at the moment
some threads you have are in an exciting moment and youâd rather put your focus into those
RPing is for fun. Donât force yourself to get stuff done. Your replies are worth the wait.
The man smiled a bit more to himself. He didnât seem to realize how much time was passing or that it was getting darker outside. None of that really seemed to matter at the time. Instead, he was far too distracted and preferred to focus on his conversation with the woman.Â
Rafael: You donât know the half of it. Rafael: Is that so? Are you included in that statistic?Â
Meg: Iâm a writer, I canât say something without imagining it in great detail. Meg: Boxers of Briefs? For the photoshop.

The rules of the game were simple enough. The player spins the bottle, and whoever it lands on is their kissing partner. If they follow all the way through with the kiss, they get to take a shot of whatever beverage they wanted, from the smooth alcohols to the easy virgin drinks. If they didnât follow through, they had to take a shot glass from the âshit shotsâ tray. It consisted of various awful concoctions from hot sauce to lemon juice to everclear.
Skyler laughed as she spun the bottle, having arrived later to the party and had learned the rules just a few turns prior. The groups of guys and girls in the circle were a generally appealing bunch, and she was sure she would have no qualms kissing almost any of them. But when the bottle landed on Meg, her heart nearly stopped. She tried not to let it show, though. And instead nodded to her with a laugh. âOf all the people in this circle, it had to land on you.â
Meg was a little tipsy. Not drunk, really, but her shoulders were heavy and she was in a good mood, but she was relieved when Skyler had finally arrived. She wasnât exactly the most social person in the world and the party was beginning to drain on her. Skyler was like her little oasis of normalcy and comfort in the crowded room.
Sheâd already kissed a guy named Mowgli and an Adam in a v-neck, and was getting near to her limit in terms of how long she could put up with the stress of the game. Kissing in front of other people was like public speaking on steroids, and always left her trembling and a little sick. The men in the circle whistled when Skylerâs spin landed on her.
âWhat do you mean by that?â Meg laughed.Â

Prim nodded her head, looking out her window down the line of cars as well. There was nothing she could do about it, anyway. Even if her car had managed to survive this morning, she would have gotten stuck in the same traffic jam. She didnât like being late, and she didnât like not knowing what was happening. She had to be in control of everything, which bothered her in this moment, but she worked on just accepting her fate.
His question snapped her out of her thoughts. âHmm? Oh, yes,â She answered, offering a small smile and a nod. âIâm the charge nurse in the Bellevue emergency room,â She explained to him. âSo whateverâs happened up ther will most likely end up in my ER.â
He watched her in the rear view mirror, keeping an eye on the traffic and inching forward whenever the car in front of him made room. âCharge nurse?â He said, not sure what it meant. He knew it sounded important though. A thought flitted through his mind that it may be a possibility that someone could die because she wasnât there when she should have been and somehow it would be his fault.Â
âI will try to get you there as fast as I can, then.â He said. Overhead, a helicopter swooped over the road. So it was an accident.Â
âYou have a stressful job, I thinkâ He said.
Encouraged by his beginnings of a smile she was feeling better about pursuing talking to him. âWell I mean sure, if you stop being all grumpy I think thatâs something I can do.â To her this was actually how she met people, at bars or pubs if you will. Moving from city to city the townâs watering hole always seemed the place to be for finding interesting people open to chat.Â
âCome on, weâll tell silly stories, and Iâll watch you get drunk. Itâll be great.â she said with some cheer in her voice. âLet me prove to you that us âyoungstersâ are not so bad.âÂ
âHmm..â He took another slow swig from his glass of amber whiskey. He narrowed his eyes at the young woman. He definitely got the impression that she was trying to flirt with him but he was fairly certain that she was not a current student of his, so he couldnât imagine why that might be.
âYou tell the first silly story. I have to think of one...â He said, bringing his gaze back to his glass as he swirled the drink in his glass.

Quin was a tad bit surprised by his own words, and he did his best to stay silent and prevent himself from speaking up and saying anything else ridiculous that could cause him more harm than good. It didnât seem as though Mary Jo was really all that upset with him, much to his own relief, and he decided to take that as a very, very good sign.Â
Her final statement caused a happy sensation to consume him. If there was one thing he enjoyed talking about, besides computers, it would be his family and his homeland. Even though his family was in a different country, he still considered them some of the most important people in the world. He hardly got to talk to anyone about them, and he would take any opportunity to talk about them.
âI already have a feeling that my family will like you, quite a lot. I already know I do, after all.â He bit at his lip slightly while he mentally cursed himself. âIâve lived in the states forâŚwell, for around nine years, now. I try to go home pretty often, a few times a year or so, at least. ItâsâŚwell, itâs hard, being away from your only family. I might end up moving back, eventually. Who knows. But I quite like it here, in America. The sights, the sounds, the people.â Especially that particular redhead besides him.Â
MJ smiled as she listened to him, noticing how his face seemed to light up when he talked about his family. Suddenly his words seemed to slow with ease and some of his shyness melted away. She felt herself relax, becoming more at ease in his presence. He couldnât be a bad person and love his family that much. In fact, she found it particularly attractive.
âAmerica has itâs high points.â She conceded. âBut I think I would die if I were separated from my family. My big brother is basically my best friend and my mom and dad...â She laughed âI donât really function without them. It sounds kinda kiddish I guess. But we are all pretty close. It must be really hard, being apart from your family. especially with them so far away. Did you come here for work or...?â
She let the question trail off. The only other motive she could imagine for moving that far away was a love interest. She hoped it was just work. He seemed like such an innocent, nice person to her, and she couldnât imagine anyone breaking his heart.
Emmy thought she was good at mixed signals but Scott had her beat. One second be seemed uncomfortable and eager for her to go and the next he seemed upset that she didnât want to take a ride from him.
Hand on his door she paused. Biting her lip she nodded. âYouâve got nothing to worry about, youâve been very professional.â
âI put you in an awkward position. But I appreciate the help.â
âI didnât think it was awkward.â He said. âI mean, I donât want you to think you canât come to me. Because you can. Thatâs why Iâm here.âÂ
He tapped on the door frame and chewed on the inside of his lip, trying to analyze his own weirdly confused mental state.
âIâll see you Thursday, yeah?â
I Need Another Story
âSo youâre saying heâs going to get lucky on a first date? For shame, Meg. I thought you had more class than that,â she joked. Her eyes glanced over the outfit, and a knot in her stomach formed at the sight of her in her own clothes. With that get up, he just might hope to get lucky with her. But the thought made Skyâs blood boil.
It sucked to try and help her set Meg up with someone else, but she insisted it was supposed to make her happy, and that was the only motivation that kept her pushing ahead.
âLike I said, donât worry. Iâll still go. I just wonât have a date of my own. Makes it easier if you decide you donât like the mail guyâs attitude and need a quick getaway. Itâll be fine.â
Meg gave her friend a sad smile. She felt guilty for stringing her along on her date. She had read enough feminist blogs to know better than to go out with an unknown man alone though, so what could she do? The fact that Skylerâs date had cancelled last minute only made it worse.
âThank you. Iâm sorry, it kinda sucks. Iâll make it up to you, I promise. Weâll do a fun girls day soon. Shopping or walking the greenbelt or something. No boys.â
After settling on her outfit, Meg applied a bit of makeup. She was hardly a makeup expert, and her skills basically amounted to a touch of lipgloss and mascara, but she smiled at her reflection with satisfaction.
âWe should probably get out of here pretty soon.â

Not So Perfect
She chuckled and opened her mouth as instructed, reaching up to take the fork from him with his guidance. âMmm, good job,â she said, the compliment simple and genuine.
The thought of him making them breakfast like this down the line after they got married set her to smiling again. She imagined them learning more things to cook together, him sitting there at the table feeding her the first bite ceremoniously day after day. Maybe even one day feeding that first bite to a different little mouthâŚa little one of their own.
She slowly stopped raising her fork, mid-bite, and lowered it back to the plate. They hadnât even really talked about the possibility of having kids of their own before. What even were his thoughts on the subject? She shook her head and went back to eating, trying to be casual about it, as she didnât want to try and startle him with such a heavy topic. âEti, what do you think about kids?â
Etienne tucked into the simple little meal. He was a man who woke up hungry and his growling stomach was glad for the eggs, even if they were far inferior to the breakfasts that his cook has used to make for him.
His mind was still reeling a bit from their earlier skirmish. He felt like he had whiplash. How he had gone from sleeping, to fighting, to cooking and eating breakfast, in the past twenty minutes was beyond him. Never a dull moment, at least.Â
He stopped chewing and stared at her when she asked about kids. After a beat he finished chewing and swallowed. âKids? You mean like, baby goats?â He laughed.
Even though Claireâs initial reaction was to give some sort of explanation, such as confessing that she had recently been proposed to, she decided against such a thing. It seemed like it would only make the situation worse, and she would much prefer to go and tell him such a thing face-to-face. It just seemed like the much better option.
âIâm sorry,â Claire replied in a whisper of her own, although why they were whispering was a mystery to her. âI called as soon as I could.â She made a soft gasp as she heard what happened to Krista and briefly covered her mouth shortly after. âOh my goodnessâŚ.this isnât good, not at allâŚdid you talk to her about it, to get her side of the story? You must remember not to make her feel attacked, Scott. She needs to know youâre on her side.â
Scott ran his fingers through his hair anxiously, leaving his brown locks sticking up at funny angles.
âI know, I know, but how do I make her know Iâm on her side when she wonât talk to me? She went right to her room and locked the door and sheâs been like. eerily silent since we got home.â
Suddenly, he heard Kristaâs bedroom door open. He barely caught a glimpse of her and a moment later she was slamming the front door on the way out.
âKrista, wait! Where are you...--â Scott nearly dropped his phone. âHold on Claire. I will call you back. She just walked out.â He said hurriedly before hanging up and following the preteen.
