The Art of Deception

I saw you today. I havent seem you in years! I saw you for a brief fleeting moment a while ago. But today, I saw you. You saw me. I said hi. You didnt recognize me. When I told you, you were shocked. I don't know if you were pretending. But you remembered me. I missed you. I still do after all this time. I still miss you. I said I would wait for you. I still am waiting. Maybe I'll be waiting forever. I dont care. All my memories of you came flooding back. I had to come back on this Tumblr to write about it. I even reread some old texts that I stupidly kept on my phone. And then, in the middle of the quiet night.....it started to rain. Like how it used to. Like how we loved it. Loke how we wished for every night. Like how whenever it rains at night, we remember....us. I know it was just for a moment today, but I hope I see you again and hear your sweet voice again and that beautiful smile. Hear your voice say my name again. You still have a hold on me. I cant let go of you. Of us.
