Have I ever shown you an old draft comic I sketched where Elsa Maria lashes Sayaka’s entire head off but she just regrows it.

Since Sayaka’s entire wish is rooted in healing, I always believed she would be able to heal more ‘complex’ and otherwise fatal injuries that would have knocked out another amateur magical girl.

New madomagi collaboration picture and how come everyone is well dressed and moe while one side of Sayaka’s overall is literally falling apart. Is this a recent fashion trend that I am not aware of… I’m shaking my fist at the sun.

I just really like it when designers sprinkle in the relevant motifs and elements for each character. Sayaka has a lot of strong imagery as a result.

Her design right now reminds me of a wounded betta fish. The way her cape is split down the half like a fish’s tail is interesting. It gives an overall impression of rot being concealed.
